This programme is part of the SejaTi MADANI @KPT Programme, the result of close collaboration between the RICE Collaboration Management Centre, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), and the community of Kampung Pulau Semut, Masjid Tanah. The launching ceremony was attended by RICE representatives, university researchers, and the Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK) of Kampung Pulau Semut, reflecting strong support for this high-impact initiative.

RICE STRENGTHENS STRATEGIC COLLABORATION WITH CENTRAL REGION MyIPO DIRECTOR

The UTeM-Melaka RICE Collaboration Management Centre (RICE), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), held a Discussion Session with @MyIPO Central Region today, attended by the Director of MyIPO Central Region and delegational representatives. The session also involved RICE representatives, including the Deputy Director of RICE and the BlueDot Coordinator, with a main agenda focusing on strengthening bilateral collaboration in intellectual property management (IP Management), innovation filing strategies, and the latest approaches in Intellectual Property Valuation (IP Valuing) to support the university's commercialization agenda.

This discussion serves as an important platform for exploring more comprehensive collaboration opportunities between UTeM and MyIPO, including researcher capacity development programmes, monitoring of high-impact innovations, and empowering a more systematic and competitive IP protection strategy. May this effort continue to reinforce RICE's role as the primary driver of innovation, IP protection, and commercialization at UTeM.
