Thank you for visiting our website which provides useful information about our roles and responsibilities in the planning and implementation of various types of projects and programs for university, government, industry and community engagement.

Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) as the first Technical University in the country, is one of the important hubs in research, innovation and knowledge creation as well as the main role of the RICE UTeM-Melaka Collaboration Management Center which involves both industry and the community to facilitate sharing and dissemination the knowledge is for the good of society, especially for the development of the country in general.

In addition, today's academic world is increasingly challenged in producing high-impact innovations that can be commercialized and utilized by industry and the community. Along with that, UTeM needs to work hard to face the process in order to ensure the success, sustainability and excellence of UTeM to be more efficient, orderly, quality and professional.

Next, UTeM puts the aspect of innovation and creativity as the prime agenda in succeeding in its transformation plan to become a university at the forefront of the world by 2025 to provide infrastructure and a conducive and effective innovation system.

In addition, the purpose of the RICE UTeM-Melaka Collaboration Management Center is to be a window to industry and the community to see the results of researchers' innovations more closely. On the face of it, UTeM promises a very broad space for intellectual application that has no boundaries, while being supported by a sustainable research base and discovery after discovery. 

Firmly under my leadership, the development of  R&D for innovation and commercialization of technology in line with the Melakaku Jaya Strategic Plan 2035 (PSMJ35) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the State of Melaka as well as the Policy for Economic Growth and Sustainability of the State of Melaka.
