The UTeM-Melaka RICE Collaboration Management Centre played an active role in the success of the Love Melaka River Programme 2025, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in collaboration with the Melaka River and Coastal Development Corporation (PPSPM). The objective of this programme was to preserve the local environmental sustainability, raise community awareness on the importance of conserving water resources, and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 6 and SDG 13).

The main activity of the programme was 'Riparian Plogging', involving over 200 volunteers comprising Infineon staff, as well as UTeM staff and students. The volunteers were officially recognized by PPSPM as 'Melaka River Heroes' for their outstanding commitment to cleaning up the riverfront area.
