KNOWLEDGE SHARING TRANSFER PROGRAM (KSTP) FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF E-KASEH FORM 5 STUDENTS IN THE STATE OF MELAKA
On December 20, 2024, the "TVET E-Kaseh Selangkah ke IPT" program was successfully organized by the Melaka State Development Office (ICU) in collaboration with Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) through the RICE-Melaka Collaboration Management Center. This program aimed to help E-Kaseh children from asnaf (needy) and low-income backgrounds plan a brighter future in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Held at Laman Hikmah, UTeM, the program targeted 60 Form 5 students from across the State of Melaka. Activities such as motivational talks, STEM briefings, group discussions, and campus life simulations successfully provided insights into career potential and the importance of higher education.
The program created a positive impact by boosting school students' motivation to pursue higher education in TVET. Participants showed a deep interest in the application of modern technology and understood the importance of planning their futures with focus. This initiative demonstrates the commitment of the Melaka State Government and UTeM in empowering E-Kaseh children through education, and thus deserves to be continued as an effort to support the social and economic development of the community.
